You point out all kinds of reasons why you think Palin should not be in government and if you look at last thirty or forty posts you will not see me opposing that perspective... yet you blaze on ignoring everything else as though that is what we are discussing. Somehow, you determine for your self that they are one and the same issue but they are not. What you can't seem to understand is that the reason Palin has been attacked is because she's made claim first to the vice presidency, and now to the presidency. Furthermore those 'attacks' you see are simply people taking exception to her claim that she is ready for those offices. GW Bush slid into town with a minimum of scrutiny and look at the mess into which he got this country. Because of Bush, every new candidate for president will be analyzed closely. That is what's happening to Palin. She is seen as cheeky and overstepping. And the more she pushes her claim, the more she is criticized. Now herein lies your problem. You don't see the connection between GW Bush and the current close scrutiny of presidential candidates......in fact, Obama went through the same close scrutiny with wingers accusing him of having been born in Kenya. Instead, what you see is poor Sarah, a sister, getting treated unfairly. And like a knight on a white horse, you keep coming to her rescue. My advise to you is grow up. The world has changed and no one will slip into Dodge......I mean, DC without getting the dirt under their fingernails checked closely. And as an aside, I suspect Palin is so self absorbed she is a lousy mother......but that is not an issue for the presidential candidate but one for the person as a human being.
