The reason for the cooler temperatures is that the ice bergs are breaking up and lowering the ocean temperature .(Its like having a glass full of ice cubes). This cooling trend is only temporary.

So maybe we need to break off a few and lower the temperature even more?

Sounds like a good solution.. Especially since that ice (except Antarctic) is ALREADY floating in the oceans.
