If you (long) and I (short) both profited from the same stock, then it must mean that somebody else out there was not as fortunate.

Do you see what I mean ?

Yeah, they're called fund managers, and they're pretty dumb.

Neil.

Leo. Absolutely and clearly understood your point. But to me yesterday was THE DAY when players from both sides can (and I'm sure did) benefited from the swing. I mean if you shorted BORL say at $9.75 and covered at $8.25 - you made about 18% in one day (not bad). On another side somebody picked up some of BORL at $8.25 and he (she) will finish the day with about the same profit (right?).

Hope this does make sense to you.

Good investing to all.

EK

*** Off topic *** I glad to see you back here. It is always good to have a contrarian "in the house". I was a BORL "bear" not so long ago and did made some profit. But now I'm among aggressive buyers and trying to make more money by staying "long" on BORL because I do see fundamental and technical improvements.
