Les, the problem here is that all parties are corrupt. the health insurance industry is full of greed bags. the government is full of greed bags. which greed bag do you want running the show? who do you want looting you - the insurance companies or the friends of the government (see car dealerships closed to help big contriubting democratic dealers). medicare is touted as having 3% expenses, but i heard the guy who oversaw TARP claim that 10% fraud is typical of government programs. 3% + 10% = 13%. now that doesn't seem so efficient. we are screwed as the choice is not to be looted or not, the choice is who shall loot you.
