Bush's tax cuts worked so well he left us with an economy, according to Bush, on the precipice of a Depression worse than the Great Depression. Bush left us with an S&P 500 down 40% over the 8 years he was in office. He left us with twice the debt we had when he took office. If the goal was to destroy the American economy, yeah, Bush's tax cuts worked great. For decades, since Reagan, we've been fed this pablum......and they are still trying to feed us this pablum. It really pisses me off.
