Re: "then why not allow the individual to shop for the best health care insurance across State lines?" Isn't that in SEVERAL of the proposed bills that are awaiting action right now in congress? (And isn't that one feature --- an inter-state 'clearing house', an online marketplace for health insurance plans where they are all listed --- something that Obama has already endorsed, and suggested should be a requirement of any bill that passes?)
