Woodrow Wilson did us in with his "self determination" policy. Every clan wants to govern themselves. Like Clemenceau said, "God was satisfied with 10 Commandments. But Wilson had to have his 14 Points!" Only thing I can guarantee you: If ethnic cleansing does occur in Iraq, only their fellow Sunnis will be mad at the Shia government. The entire rest of the world will yell at the US. Mustn't judge Arabs, you know. They're "other." That's a new level of wackiness that Woodrow Wilson could never have dreamed of.
