Hi, Jane, Currently, there are five analysts who cover Spartech. Two have "strong buy" recommendations and three have a "moderate buy" rating. The most recent to recommend the stock was Everen Securities which was reported in the August 18, l997 edition of Barron's. They have a near-term target price of $19 and a long-term target price of $23. When I first bought into the stock about 3-4 years ago, there were no analysts, so it is slowly gaining recognition. Is your investment club still in LB? I have to admit that I bailed the next morning. The gentleman sitting next to me was carrying a cell phone (not a bad idea for any shareholder attending an annual meeting!) and sold his on the way to his car.
