For a week now, critics in both parties have had a blast railing at Palin. It’s good sport.

And therein lies the problem, it's not sport, it's madness and inappropriate... taking pot shots at this point is far beyond any logic or common sense or decency... I'm reminded of how much all the know-it-alls laughed at Robert Fulton when he built his steam driven paddle riverboat the North River Steamboat (later known as the Clermont), they laughed at his "folly" too, they called it Fulton's Folly... all of them were idiots with absolutely no vision, and the same can be said about all those who take shots at Sarah Palin today... in fact, the only people who don't like her are the pseudo intellectual elite within the GOP and those on the left who truly see her as the legitimate threat that she is... the truth of it is that she has enormous appeal because she represents the average American with the ideals of a conservative... anyone who underestimates this is a damn fool...

Re: "That leaves the charisma-challenged Mitt Romney, precisely the kind of card-carrying Ivy League elitist Palinists loathe, no matter how hard he tries to cosmetically alter his history as a socially liberal fat-cat banker. Palin would crush him like a bug...."

Interesting.

(Might even be true....)
