I asked: Why do you keep making basic scientific and category errors by identifying a genetically distinct Human Being with cells from your nose?

Answer: "Because cloning creates a fertilized egg just as intercourse or artificial insemination does."

Again this is a BASIC CATEGORY ERROR!, sloppy thinking and bad science. You have returned to your "eggs are not people" argument when nobody ever claimed that they were! The cells in your nose are not clones: they are cells. Once the egg IS fertilized, then (and only then) a new and genetically distinct Human Being begins to exist.

"Scientifically, the fertilized egg is not a distinct human life because it could well divide into identical twins (like any other fertilized egg). But it is homo sapien life."

The possibility of twinning is strictly hypothetical and is only possible within the first 14 days. A new, and genetically distinct Human Being begins to exist at the moment of conception. What happens IF and when twinning occurs, is a not clear, but it is not logical to say that prior to twinning, no Human being existed.

"Just because this dna from my cells can be inserted into the nucleus of an egg to make a human life does not mean that these millions of cells are human PERSONS"

Again: only you have asserted that cells from your nose are people, and then you deny it as if I had claimed that they were. Straw Men are so easy to knock down. Do me the courtesy of engaging the arguments I have actually made or positions that I actually hold. For instance:

"And your argument is what? Blacks are human persons so carrots and fertilized eggs are also human persons?"

Who mentioned carrots and why can't you just deal with what I have said? My argument is that Blacks were once legally defined as non Human Beings in exactly the way the unborn are today. You keep appealing to legal definitions as if that could disprove the basic scientific fact that genetically distinct Human Beings begin to exist from the moment of conception. It is obvious that Blacks are Human Beings and it's just as obvious that the child is killed in the act of birth is a Human Being as well. Legal technicalities and slight of hand do nothing to change scientific facts.

"You probably misunderstood the sentence. I said: "And we both agree that abortions are unfortunate necessities in the harm they sometimes do to the mother." Now, if you don't find harm to the mother from an abortion to be unfortunate then bully for you."

No: and again a deliberate mis characterization of what I said.
An unfortunate necessity is having to have an emergency appendectomy. The vast majority of abortions are done, not out of necessity, but merely for the sake of convenience. I try to never take pleasure in any harm that comes to anyone.

"Do they start to gasp for air or squirm or thrash wildly about trying desperately to reach water and oxygen?"

No, but I've noticed that you have been doing a lot of gasping and grasping lately. Perhaps I should go easier on you.
