The Chabot College in Hayward, California installed solar cell panels on its parking lot recently. I wonder why people do that in the remote desert before all the parking lots are covered. If I had enough money, I'd work with cheap solar panel manufacturers to start a business dedicated to this based on profit sharing with the parking lot owners, who would love to have someone to provide the shades in the hot summer and shelters in the rainy days for free with some extra income.
