Thanks for the clarification- I believe we are on the same page. Re my post:
"The latest 3-shift/day numbers since the conf call use a discounted $/watt hour figure ".... I recall the company stated a reduced estimated sales price per cell that worked out to about $1.50 per watt hr! I believe the specific energy per cell has increased since.

Another very relevant factor is the profit margin. I believe the margin can be kept relatively high due to the demand. It has been suggested that 40% may be low because of the products uniqueness and high demand, and that 60-80% or higher should be possible!

The numbers still looked good when using 20%.. Perhaps this is why joint-venture partners Alliant Tech and Hanil Telecom see a worthwhile return even after sharing 50% of the profits with Valence!
