Not surprisingly (given your superstitious nature and obsession with Absolute Power Figures), your feelings are entirely repressed and you have projected them unto me. Your sense of being a sneak thief (your "slight" of hand weak fingers) and your dim awareness beneath the surface that you have robbed your life's journey of integrity, clarity, and character--these are reflected in your angry projections of self unto others. My point is that there are virtually unlimited potential cells to be farmed--even in the hair follicles of ones nose. By showing you the big picture I am suggesting that you are being overawed by your fascination with the intercourse variety of fertilized eggs. In another post I used pollen as an example of a virtually unimaginable number of living beings with greater actuality than a zygote and with independence to boot--lacking only the potential to grow into a more (to you) valued form and function. Of course, every species values their own. It is called species bias and is understandable. "your argument is basically emotional and bereft of solid reasoning." Again, you are projecting. YOUR argument is entirely emotional and based on a superstitious belief that a fertilized egg is a sacred creation of a Tribal God named Jesus Yahweh. Not a single fact I present has any possibility of breaking through a belief system which does not rely on facts but rather on pure whimsy. So I respond to you simply out of principle. "The cells in your nose are not clones: they are cells." The point is that they are all homo sapien life and potential homo sapien zygotes. They can be farmed in order to create trillions and trillions of zygotes that can be used to benefit living people. "We do not "destroy a googleplex of life per person every second" if by "life" you are talking about clones: Do we?" I was talking about ALL the living creatures we destroy every second. It is not unusual to have half a million or so bacteria in a square inch of matter. And this is only one life form. Again, the point being to inform you that our planet teems with life in very square inch of space and matter which is every bit or more functional and independent and sufficient than a human zygote. So the ONLY value you can ascribe to the zygote in a social sense is to somehow bring potentiality in as an argument. OR you can prove that this speck has value just as it is because society wholly acknowledges the same creator and that we then all (or by a preponderance) agree on what He, She, It said or meant or whatever. Naturally, you don't need to satisfy any social value in the case of your own embryo. You value it because you value it. Period. But neither does society have any right to FORCE you to value your zygote. You have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. So if having a parasite in your body makes you unhappy, you will do with it as Thou will. "you are just a basically dishonest person." You are projecting, as usual. One of us is prevented from open and honest thought because one of us has embraced ancient dogma from primitive wandering tribes as being SACRED, without error, and without the possibility of contradiction. *Therefore, one of us is incapable of learning or of changing our mind or of honestly* being open to new facts and information. Therefore, one of us is DISHONEST by nature and by definition** and one of us must bear the hostile brunt of that persons unhealthy projections.
