UW - Pescod blurb yesterday

Gold has a small move today, but lots of news out on several
golds we follow. Underworld Resources announced additional
drilling results such as 31 metres of 9 grams gold,
which is excellent stuff.
There was some obvious profit taking today, but we go to
Bryan Slusarchuk, President of Tirex, who has suggested
Underworld here at $0.50 and $0.60 and he writes: “As a big
Underworld shareholder, I couldn’t be more pleased with
today’s news and it absolutely exceeded expectations.
Again, the market will do what the market does, but this is
big news fundamentally in my mind. Key points, for me, in
these assays, include the fact that we see the grade picking
up again on holes 44 and 47. These are step out holes to the
east and David, if you remember, it was hole 38 to the east
that possibly caused the market a bit of concern due to
grade, although I thought it was positive as it added to the
continuity of mineralization. Now, we see these holes, further
east of 38 with very significant grade and I think this is
very important. It’s also interesting to see that the type of
mineralization is changing within hole 47 and it appears,
according to the UW geologists, that the mineralization there
is more tapered and of higher grade.
When you look at holes such as hole 44 which is almost 4
g/t over 56m and hole 47 that I discuss above which is 31m
of 9.2 g/t ton, it is amazing to me that the stock hasn’t reacted
a lot more to the upside, but I think that simply represents
potential opportunity.
I continue to get more encouraged with every Underworld
news release and think that the continuity of mineralization
and excellent grade won’t continue to get overlooked.
The next holes apparently have been drilled down dip on
Golden Saddle and they have also drilled a surface trace to
the south, to test a potential stacked structure. Who knows
what that theory will bring, with drilling, but I look at it as
simply blue sky potential over and above the core of the
story. Underworld is less than half way through Phase 2, so
there will be a lot more news flow moving forward.”
