I think you are looking for a leader that understands people at a basic level, and I am too. However, Palin has way too many flaws to be that leader. I'd say Obama, despite his Ivy league education, has more experience with normal people from his community leadership experience than most politicians in D.C. Also, keep in mind that Obama wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He earned everything he got and came through with flying colors. Right now, he is trying his best to make sure that the normal people get a slice of the pie. We've had a run of the top 1% getting more than their fair share while the rest of us have seen our incomes and retirement stagnate or decline. So as much as you think Palin may talk a good game, she's and the GOP aren't for the little guys. They are for more of the same, which means more declining income and retirement for the 99% of the us. Just my two cents.
