force and choice is precisely the question. And you have a view of 'hollywood' that does adhere to anything most women or minorities see, considering it is dominiated by white men, and in movies, by muscled-up white men. how's about you focus on something in the world that matters much more than hollywood, which is afterall, 'just entertainment'. hollywood is a wonderful deflection from real problems for the right wing to focus on... then we don't worry about water, or pollution, or other problems. who cares about hollywood? as a woman writer, I might... since I have a chance in hell of getting work there. but that is my problem, and it has not to do with left or right wing, as left and right wing both are dominated by white males. I prefer to focus elsewhere.
