"Not very "stimulating," either economically or intellectually." While maybe not the latter, it certainly is the former. Did you sleep through economics class? Granted, some spending has more long term benefits than others. Certainly I favor infrastructure upgrades. But spending still stimulates, even if it is wasteful.
