It is a simple thing to prove - why not prove it?

Because any and all evidence would automatically be doubted by those who believe that Obama was born overseas. It isnt an argument than can be won.

Moreover, there is zero upside politically. Those who believe this stuff will never vote for Obama anyway....and everybody else just ignores it. Actually, it is entirely possible that having these crackpot allegations against Obama helps him. It discredits his opponents and hurt the real criticisms of the man.
