anyone care to step up and define how any of these etfs, as products, are anything more or less than momentum hiding arbitrage? (Challenge is show the underlying construction and resolve any contradictions) Me thinks that article illustrates mal investment isnt just a function of the small investors, these big guns make plenty of bad moves, and if you can believe the article, this latest move is an attempt to catch up, in deference to recognizing limitations of past strategies gone bad. (must be reading the thread TJ) momentum is just house intent....has defined shelf life, possesses and utilizes misinformation, cast as logical progression....everyones serving the hierarchal distribution, as compliance with useful utility rules; illustrative of on demand requirement for publishing opinions at the proper time. and yet there remains this problem of etf structure that flaunts all logic.
