But it can bring out the worst in people's temperaments. I have discussed (briefly) SP with liberal friends and had to put a stop to the discussion by pointing out the difficulty of discussing anything with a person so full of vitriol.

I get the deer in headlights stare. They are totally incapable of considering or discussing an opposing opinion or looking into their souls.
