Bet you a nickel that you are still holding full. I believe that variuos firms have a rule that you can miss settlement something like two times a year. Don't hold it to me, I got burnt on the THIRD time in an IRA on a big IPM BUY( & hense their mandatorty sale) back by the Nations # whatever Discount Broker few years in a row (until lately) way back in the spring run up of IPMCF. Black rules that are never explained to clients, when sell and settlements must cover sometimes and SOMETIMES that they slide them, poor biz in any affect. IMHO. Hope you make it thru, I switched to all my accounts after that IPM buy in March or whatever! Now, I support FULL SERVICE BROKERS, more than most understand. With all the Discount Broker adverse talk this week, none are Lilly...GRAY. Only the full service are tops...in my BOOK! Chucahopesyouhaveservicetommorrow.P.S.- They had the audacity to write me a letter that said in part"...Please be advised that the above reference account will be restricted to liquidations only. ( In bold at the end). Please transfer your account to another firm within 30 days of this notice. Until your account is transferred, we will accept liquidating orders only. You may not make purchases ..." As you see they didnot like me bringing up the facts to their attention on or about 7 March 1997. Full service brokers do give deep discounts off schedules, when arranged beforhand. I do not rec DISCOUNT B..ROOKERS!
