Manalagi, politics is nasty stuff. And I do not like that we humans behave that way. But it is the human condition. Just look how the senate Republicans are trying to beat up Sotomayor (for no reason at all!!)instead of asking relavant consitutional questions. Sotomayor is very well qualified and yet the right wing is picking a fight just to fight. That does not serve our country well. The dems also engage in all sorts of unsavory politics like pork etc. But the dems for the last 80 years have consistently behaved much more compassionately, civilized intelligently than the right wingers. And at the bottom of all of this are fundamental problems which the dems keep trying to correct and the right wing keeps tharwting e.g. public financing of campaigns. I will explain kinky sex to you in another post-lol. Maybe I can make a liberal out of you yet-lol.
