The small town where I spent my childhood has an airport -- not much more than a landing strip -- that averages about one or two takeoffs/landings a day. Cessna 150s, 180s, etc. I don't know if any jet has ever landed there. They got $1,000,000 in stimulus for airport improvements. The town's industry died in the 90s. There is nothing there. And no reason for an airport at all, really. I take it then that unemployment is below 4% and you all don't need the jobs. Why don't you start a petition to return the money?
