Yes they really amplify moves particularly in times with little participation in the underlying stocks.

If they like, they can put the FAS at 50, 52 wherever. This is all machine driven. No single stock is traded in that massive amount.

FAS & FAZ together trade 70MM so far, at $45 this is about 3.15B times 3 makes that 10B volume. Much more than any bank trading today. (BAC has about 2.5B turnover).

Now +13.3% in the FAS and still going, as it gained another 3% in an hour, in its obvious megaphone effect.
I wish I knew where the program stops and changes direction.

From my experience, theres a less than 15% chance, realistically 5% to see a turnaround in the last hour.
