Since this whole BC BS issue is ridiculously lacking in actual substance, merit or importance given what has already transpired, I can only look at it as a weird psychological aberration that otherwise intelligent people are latching onto to serve some other psychological purpose. But there is a lot of that going around this year. The steady drum beat of pinata bashing has become a familiar background noise, most of it easily ignored for what it is.
