The government goes down the drain this time along with the Fed,
stocks, bonds, and the dollar, as gold soars to 2500 and above,
but that's the next wave of the crisis. Food and energy soar in
price too, as manipulation of where supply of dollars is supposed
to go breaks down.

Until then, whatever suits GS needs.

My fear is that they kill whatever is left of the Real economy
before this happens.

I do see some positive signs in what Obama Administration
is trying to accomplish, but the system rotted to the core,
and these reforms will be difficult and will sure meet a lot
of resistance from the banking circles

Basically, we have an array of financial bubbles built around
the printing press, so protecting yourself against the said printing
press is really the only option. IMHO.

Manipulation won't work for long this time, no bubble left to
blow

Well, they will try to shore up bonds at the expense of
stocks and the dollar, then stocks at the expense of bonds,
then the dollar at the expense of both stocks and bonds,
until it all goes down the drain, cause there is not
enough money to manipulate everything. Or, if you wish,
too much money is printed, the market perceives it as
a T-default. Give it a few months -g-
