Bonnie: Lots of complaining about brokerage houses being unreachable--or unable to fill orders. Seems to me you warned about this very thing--except you assumed that it would be long investors unable to get out when the market dropped. Bonnie, did it not occur to you that the same thing would happen to shorts/puts when the market shot upwards? My condolences, but perhaps you should take your own advice. This is what happens when people gamble, rather than invest.

Joe & Sue from Kalamazoo love those cheap imports, don't you?

biz.yahoo.com

Since the local manufacturing jobs closed they made a 'career change' to the service industry. Now thanks to those crazy asians they can afford to buy something on that new Visa before they file for B. (shhh)

Greeny will print more tickets to the show and the crazy game of life will continue? Bonnie Bear, please say it's so! :o)

America no longer needs to produce goods, and the checks will keep rolling into head office. Close your eyes and believe in America Bonnie!

I am off to save my strength to fight another day.

When you can buy it pre-boomer let me know....that's 10 cents to the dollar....

Real Estate was cheap in Texas at one time too after the Oil glut in the early 80's.....and Michigan in the 70's with the Oil shortage.....and California during defense downsizing.

You might find market segments which are excessive......or undiscovered....but in relatation to other items touched by this boomer generation......the Dow is just a reflection of this segment of the populations income going thru the economy.

I can remember when they said it was too high at 900, 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400,....ect....ect...ect

Also you have another event which has not taken place in history....the movement of the madjority of the nations of the world to capitalism and democrary...expanding the 'free world' from a select few nations into a world wide free-for-all.

In case you haven't figured it out you are fighting the light bulb & telephone....good luck.......long term you're road kill.
