Brainwashing from the military-industrial-government complex. War is heroic and patriotic. You're taught this by John Wayne from the time you can see the TV.

Inode can't put 2 and 2 together. He complains about shortfalls in SS and Medicare but no expense is spared for the military and there isn't a war he doesn't love. Its amazing how thick headed his thinking is.
