Are you talking about 1st or 2nd WW right now? Since we were discussing the 1930s, please stay with WW I for a starter and reformulate your post.

Which remindes me of how some of your very elite guys were seriously involved with East Silesian coal mining and other joint US/German projects all way through the 30s and until FDR spoke stopped that in the early 1940s.

Anyway, my point was, that since Sweden didn't participate actively in WW I, they had a less bumpy avenue back to prosperity after the crisis.

Hoping that you can shed some new light on Sweden's involvement in WW I - besides what we all incl. Wiki know and have known for some time that is - I really look forward to your gold nuggets.
