The simple fact of the matter is that Obama was issued a US passport when he was a child without any naturalization procedure. So Uncle Sam decided 40 years ago that he was a legitimate US citizen. He then left the country and re-entered numerous times on that passport, not a foreign passport requiring a visa. Only citizens can do that. Then he got his name on the 2008 ballot in fifty states for both the primaries and the general election. That meant fifty secretaries of state accepted his bona fides as a US-born citizen, because you can't run for president otherwise. So apart from Hawaii, numerous presidential administrations and all fifty states' election boards, there is no support whatsoever for the idea that Obama was born in the US. That's what makes the whole thing so willfully stupid. Not just dense as in not bright, but people being willfully stupid by dragging this issue out further when the facts are clear.
