But if the initial passport was based on false information the rest doesn't matter.

That's potentially true for all US passport holders, including all previous presidents and presidential nominees from both parties.

It's also as irrelevant now as it was for the others. It's like speculating that lightning will strike the president as he walks out to the helicopter on the White House lawn.
