I loved their winters, but I had only Marquette (with lake effect) and then Ishpeming (further away from lake) to experience. While snow fall is really good, it is nothing like other parts of the Upper P. where houses do get 'buried'.
And... the weather, even cold, is not that damp cold in lower Michigan... (you notice that one could remove the p from damp and still be correct:) I miss them.
