Santer actually gave me his email because I wanted to know about the melting mars icecaps. He said there was a perfectly good explanation for them that had nothing to do with Earth and by golly, he was right. He was a really nice guy. I was really looking for any shred of hope at the end of his presentation. It was nice of him to give me clouds. He went through about 8 positive feedback systems (systems actually feeding on themselves to increase the average temperature of the Earth)- and then he gave me clouds. I was really glad to get the clouds.
