Right about emergencies. Prior approval - all health care agencies get this - they're concerned with how they'll get paid before they see you - see any ER.

No your PPO does not pay more than Medicare.

You have no way of knowing that. Doctors complain about medicare, but the PPO I'm in is entered willingly by pretty much everyone I've seen.

Do you have a copay? What % of the agreed to bill do you have to pay? Welcome to socialized medicine...
