That doesn't nullify what I presented - that most people are happy with the health care they have. But it's not private healthcare as you indicate you want. If its not government, its private. Sure you can use doctors "out of net" but if you do, you may need prior approval first. In emergencies, you can use anyone. Right about emergencies. Prior approval - all health care agencies get this - they're concerned with how they'll get paid before they see you - see any ER. No your PPO does not pay more than Medicare. You have no way of knowing that. Doctors complain about medicare, but the PPO I'm in is entered willingly by pretty much everyone I've seen. Do you have a copay? What % of the agreed to bill do you have to pay? Welcome to socialized medicine... Of course to the first, but that doesn't make it socialized medicine.
