I don't understand how not selling Boeing jets to Iran helps relations between Israel and Iran.

There are many good reasons to not allow Boeing to sell jets to Iran.

In general, it is tough to see why we should provide ANY kind of technology to Iran. Why would we do that? Isn't the entire point of sanctions to try and make life as miserable as you can for the target country?


Why are we trying to make life miserable for the Iranians?

As to the absurd claim that our refusal to sell aircraft parts puts Iranian lives in danger, it is sheer lunacy. Iran is putting its peoples' lives in danger. Don't try to pass that buck to US.

That's not my interpretation.....its the Iranian interpretation. However, I can see how they would come to that conclusion.
