The only actual censorship that happens here comes from me, either chiding posters for misbehavior or banning people who violate the TOU. Unlike other threads, we allow a wide variety of POVs if the posters remain polite. I would suggest that everyone forget about jumping on one another for how they posted something, and focus on content. If I see a real problem I will point it out and do something. If not, I will let it slide. This is not a kitchen that works well with dozens of chefs. It's more like a community club with nominal leadership to maintain general order. That's my job.

To attempt to censor such views is fundamentally at odds, IMHO, with being in the center so I will continue express my displeasure at any such attempts. I think we misunderstand each other. I don't see Ed's comment as even getting close to censorship. First, he can't do it; second it was clearly a bit of exasperation, which, as I said, more than one of us has done. I think the best thing to do is simply to stay away from the dart throwing. My problem is that, sometimes, just a very, very few times, I can't resist. Remind me when I don't. ;-0
