Tell me in which year the national debt went down: I will make a rough calculation that, when inflation adjusted, it did between 97 and 2000, ...i will look into a more precise answer when I have more time. It certainly did relative to GDP...now look at the same curves under reagan and both bushes... And keep in mind that these figures exclude the massive increases in Social Security and Medicare unfunded liabilities. Which have no more to do with Clinton than they did with his predecessors all of whom failed to address the issue. Al
