LOL. Good point.

Globals have been used in many areas for years. For example, surgeons can't bill for certain follow-ups. OB/GYNs who see patients for prenatal visits can charge just a single fee that includes the delivery plus 5 or 6 prenatal visits.

Of course, patients don't always do what they are supposed to do and you really can't blame the doc for THAT.

This is probably one of those areas better tinkered with on the margins.

The idea you're going to make the physician responsible for the patient's total health is just silly.
