EXACTLY.

It doesn't directly 'show', it doesn't break-out spending AT ALL.

(Spending is not listed on the chart. :-)

What it does is show NET NATIONAL DEBT. (So, obviously that is affected by spending, revenue, and borrowing vs. retirement of existing debt.)

You will have to find some different chart to break-out the components that produce NET NATIONAL DEBT... because this one just shows the bottom line.
