She began by challenging him based on where he lived, apparently not realizing he could have a residence in the east and be paying taxes on business and property in California. Then she brought out the inapplicable comments from other black leaders and organizations to pit against him, while he sat there with documentation from experts on energy research, experts who represented no particular race, they represented the scientific facts, which she opted to ignore completely. Then she goes on and on about the black organizations who might see things differently than he did. He was obviously ready to respond to that racist rant. She has a history of that type of stuff and he probably had done his home work. Remember when she tried to tell Secretary Rice she was not going to pay a particular price for Iraq because she is single and childless? "You're not going to pay a particular price, as I understand it, with an immediate family." The IWF (Independant Women's Forum) demanded an apology, but it didn't get to the MSM press so she got away with it. Some of us notice that sort of thing especially when there is a pattern. "Condoleezza Rice is a seasoned diplomat, a renowned scholar and an advisor to two presidents, does Senator Boxer believe that Secretary Rice is not qualified to make high level decisions because she is a single, childless woman?" Sometimes people get caught up in the moment and say dumb stuff that we should let pass. But this is a patterned tactic of Boxer and it undermines legitimate efforts to get both sides of a debate on the table. She should be called on that crap at every turn from now on.
