If that is all you can see it is because you are deliberately filtering out the obvious and applicable facts of the situation. Which have already been presented.

Mr Alfred is a Business Man who was there to represent a very high level research report on green energy in California. Boxer made a big issue about Black Organizations and Black spokespersons who have resolved to support green energy development. None of the sources she referred to were representatives of green energy business or research, the NAACP is not a Business organisation at all, and many of Alford's associates, who back him, belong to one or the other of the organizations she brought up. So what was her point?

His initial questions of what does that mean, the NAACP has says this or that? And why was she referring to those black groups and quotes? What did it have to do with what they were there to discuss?

Answer: It had to do with Jim Crow stuff, it was an attempt to coerce him or to put him down as a Black man, by referring to powerful blacks who might be against him. "I'm gonna find another negro to beat your but boy, that's what she was doing."

Today she's claiming the EEI (Edison Electric Institute) are supporting her proposal but she doesn't realise EEI principles helped him write his testimony. She is lying. Not that this sort of deceit would necessarily bother you or anything.
