The fact that they can take advantage of people in dire straits and sell the next bulls--t bailout plan, social entitlement program, or "Save the planet" boondoggle says a lot about misplaced trust. Look, we just have different ways to look at issues. I happen to think that health care is a right, you must think it's a privilege...so called conservatives in the US refuse to accept the fact that health care must be paid for. They have no problem spending trillions of dollars on fantastic weapons and war making...but talk about spending 100B a year on health care and it's a scandal...same on energy and the environment, support net for the poor and dispossessed, and so on. Hence my question about the view from the cheap seats...are you sure your indignation is not little more than cynical tendency? I had a right to be pissed off at bush...he sent my kids to a war that didn't have to happen...you're just speculating about the future on the strengths of your biases. Al
