One of Lou's sons told a story that everyone here would like...

Eric related how one HS football game he was in didn't go well, and he himself was unhappy with his own performance. His folks were there of course, and after the game, his Dad didn't say much about it, but knew Eric was unhappy with himself. The next morning, his Dad gave him a book, and suggested he read the part he had bookmarked....In fact, Lou had written Eric a note at the beginning of the chapter, and it included something like this:

“Set a realistic and practical goal and then work harder than anyone else, and never give up until it’s achieved. Patience and persistence is mandatory, and quitting is not an option.”

Lou truly believed this, and his life showed it.
