I envy you. West African shore not like Brazil shore. Here the land flushed inside the Atlantic. (Left Diamonds of Angola, S. Africa and Namibia uncovered).

There you have Serra do Mar. Land did not dropped into the sea like it did here.

Only that area where Parana stands today was under the water and -as it lifted- it dropped all the crap inside the Atlantic which became pre-salt oil.

Vila Velha is the remnant of the bottom of that old sea.
