The real estate market right now is like the bond market was late last year. A lack of buyers meant there was no market, forced sellers depressed prices, but those prices snapped back once conditions improved.

You can't trust the prices right now...nobody in their right mind would sell into this market if they didn't have to. If you're able to buy on depressed comps, I think it's a no-brainer.

This is the beauty of the American system, it's vicious, but relatively efficient.
