I am not sure about LC. He hasn't been buttering me up sufficiently for me to draw a warm conclusion about him yet. I do hope he is not the "fairest person anyone has ever met" etc.. these people are always the most prejudicial. OTOH, everyone should start out with a healthy set of prejudices that constitute his worldview, otherwise he will not be able to take step on a dry sidewalk on a sunny day. Then when confronted with opposition one should try to exercise as hypocritical and cynical a view as possible in order to hew to the middle ground of subverted public opinion and avoid most of the bullets. i.e. smarmy political correctness. One needs ample prejudice, as trying to prove the basics is beyond Newton-Raphson with an IBM 370 on a good day. Intellectual rigor and honesty is a crock. It will antagonize the greatest number of people if they actually understand it. Of course, so will being the raging bull in the Whacked-Out Idea China Shop, as Oxbot has so ably demonstrated. (Sticking too close to any theme generally gets one the theme-glue-remover treatment.) EC<:-}
