Obama said U.S. must end the war, both for the future of Iraq and to allow the U.S. to refocus its attention more firmly on Afghanistan. This is what I remember and I think we don't hear so much about causalities anymore is because we have become immune to the war but you do hear more and more about people being killed these days.
