I thought that "religions" required a God (or Gods....)?

Not at all, any belief based on faith, even if it cannot be proven in reality, is a religion... the best example of that is the myth of global warming which has now become the religion of the liberals...

Philosophy = Religion. Philosophies many times are covers for non-mainstream/controversial religions. If Satan/Lucifer existed, wouldn't he/it/force be the head misanthropist? Wouldn't the examples of misanthropic philosophies/religions be a perfect match for Satanism/Luciferianism, just minus the outward mention of their god(s), because it isn't exactly mainstream and is controversial? Just some ideas I have.
