Phil, the point is that if you are going to attack people, criticize them etc, you should at least have a slight passing knowledge about what you are saying.

Of course you don't need to learn by rote all the references, links and quotes, but if you think what you wrote, you should have some reason to think it. Otherwise you are just part of an ignorant lynch mob, repeating some lies.

It doesn't take much intelligence at all to know about what he thought he got wrong. The point of the question wasn't an intelligence test. All he said was that he assumed that shareholders and managers of companies would act in their own interests rather than self-destruct in the way they did

It is perfectly reasonable to assume that people will not be financially suicidal. Maybe a few will be, but it's quite reasonable to assume the majority will not.

As you are showing with your mindless following of the lynch mob blaming Alan Greenspan for their own decisions, people do just mindlessly get into a stampeding herd, even if it involves self-destruction.

I've always considered ignorant vicious gangs and mobs to be one of life's common evils, so when I see yet another such mob forming, I'm happy to call them what they are. If they don't like being considered stupid, vicious etc , then too bad for them. They can go to Hell.

Also, repeating a falsehood 91,000 times doesn't make it true: < Google: I typed Greenspan flawed. There were 91,000 references.>

Alcoholics might blame the brewery, drug users blame their suppliers, and debtors blame their creditors or in this instance, the person who keeps the monetary system sort of stable, but they are all looking in the wrong direction. They should look in a mirror to see the defective person.

It's funny that "I am a mindless Zombie" stream was written long before the housing hysteria. Such a short time before the housing mania, people were blaming Alan Greenspan KBE for their decision to buy some ridiculous Biotelecosmictechdot.com stock with no prospect of making profits.

Here it is, from August 2002: Subject 53236
