Claude, i don't think so. why? b/c it would hurt the oligarchy - you know, the ones who would actually make the call and spoon feed to the president.

that is, unless they could make money by repudiating the debt.

hyperinflation certainly is not happening in the US.
Moreover, US government debt is not even the big problem now, consumer debt is.
